Happy World Water Day, Water is the source of life for all living things on earth. Let's protect and conserve water for the sake of our survival. Here are some tips for conserving water:
1. Dispose of Garbage in its Place
Dispose of garbage in its place, garbage left in drains, ditches, and rivers can cause environmental pollution. The river as a source of clean water was eventually polluted and unconsumable.
2. Save Water Use
Use water wisely and responsibly. Turn off the water faucet when not in use, cook enough water, and recycle used washing water are some ways to save to prevent dryness and water shortages.
3. Forest Reforestation
Reforestation by planting trees can help maintain the quality of springs so that they remain clean and uncontaminated so that they can be used by the community. Planted trees can store water so that water reserves are available during the dry season.
4. Managing Chemical Waste
Chemical waste is very dangerous for the environment, avoid throwing away chemical waste such as; paint, oil, bleach, detergent, etc. into rivers and seas. Making waste shelters, using filters, planting water plants, choosing detergents that do not contain phosphates are some of the ways to manage chemical waste.
5. Recycling Used Materials
Recycle household waste that can be used for home decoration purposes. This type of vegetable waste can be used as fertilizer, besides that dry waste types such as plastic bottles still have economic value so they can be resold.
